There are many options available for 1st time homebuyers.
There are no interest loans, and lower interest loans for
1st time homebuyers.
There are many assitance plans as well, where the city
helps the buyer with their payment by taking on a portion
of the loan in which the buyer does not have to make a
payment on for the 1st five years. For example in Citrus
Heights if you are purchasing a $275,000 home, the city
will take on $50,000 of your loan leaving you with the
payment on a $225,000 home. You will not have to make a
payment on the $50,000 until 5 years after the purchase.
This can save a buyer as much as $500 in their monthly
payment. |
